HOLY $H!T !! Talk about a match to my F85 !!! Someone needs to buy this W-30 and my W-31 and have a matched set !!!!! :eek2:
for the W-30 :eek2: for the buying of the W-30 and Casey's car to have a matched set :eek2: that would be just like the 2 agean aqua cars on the bridge at the Centennial
Just as soon as I hit the lottery I'll be by with cash.................... speakin of lottery..............today in NJ the pick-3 midday numbers were 442, figyres after I move my numbers come out
Case: I did a doubletake when I saw that car. Thought it would make a perfect stablemate for your car. Why don't you sell off your Mopar stuff, buy this, move up the ladder of respectability about 4 notches, and get a tandem trailer behind that new Cummins? Keep the Biscayne.....it's too cool. That car shipped to our favorite place in NW Canada could reappear and set a new high water mark. I don't see anything wrong or major there. W27, no less.......... There's $5k alone. :Brow: :Brow: :Brow:
The thermostat housing has been replaced, and looks like the water pump, too. That does it -- I'm not going to buy it!!!! Should be interesting to see how much this one goes for. This one needs a restoration. The $78k car was good enough as is. It's calling your name, Casey ...... Casey ....... Casey ...... You should be able to afford it if you sell that wimpy W-31. It's about time you step up and experience the power of a big block. :bglasses:
I can't believe that I am going to beat Dave to this comment! But first, Case would have to learn how to shift! :spank:
I about fell out of the chair when I was looking at the pictures. Spiral shocks, a real W-27 rear end, the green interior! Looks complete, just need the "Led Zepplin" treatment.... Needs a Whole Lotta Love! p
He does pretty good rowing the gears in the Biscayne. Shifting is the easy part, just ask JJ. Put on a 3 foot long shift handle, wiggle your big toe on your right foot when you're ready and yank! Left pedal is only for stopping and starting. Now launching a stick shift is an art! Best 60 I've had this year is a 1.90 at Norwalk. Always on the edge of disaster, though, if you push it. Much easier with a big block and launch at idle speed, but you're at a disadvantage to an automatic due to the torque multiplication factor in the convertor (especially the switch pitch ones that seem to have come in most of the Buicks.) Small blocks love those 4000 RPM launches. :3gears: :3gears: :3gears:
So, does anyone care to take a guess what this car is going to cost? dave, I know you made a guess on ROP
