I need a repro 64-67 Skylark A/C evaporator box gasket. This is the gasket that seals the evaporator box to the firewall. Does anyone know where I can get one?

The OPG A/C gasket set doesn't have it, or the seal that seals the heater box on the inside. Furthermore, it gives the wrong density and thickness of materials for most of the other gaskets that it does replace. I don't recommend the OPG gasket set for this application.

I'd also like to find a good useable A/C condenser for a 64-65.

On the 68-72 A-body models, I use the windshield butyl tape seal, 3/8" dia available at Autozone and roll it between my fingers to get to 1/4" dia. Never had a leak.

That's what I sealed the cover-plate with prior to the A/C. I'ts my last resort on this jub, I just hate that sticky stuff!

By the way, does anyone have a photo or can tell me what type of drain is put in the used to drain the cowl area ? It's odd the evaporator box drains into the cowl, but there's nowhere for the water to go from there. I figure the A/C cars must have had some sort of drain installed there too. :Do No:
