Looking for an a/c compressor with large pulley clutch for my 70 GS455 resto. I really need only the pulley and clutch,but will take both if attached. Bill
Mike, Is it the same as the 70? o No: Does it have the red label on it? Do you have the whole compressor or just the clutch assm? Condition? How much do you want for it? I know I ask too many questions. Thanks for checking, Bill
ac i would ask the same questions also. it is the complete compressor. i don't know the condition of it. i will have to check for the label. when i check it out we can talk price then. will get back to you in a little bit...mike
ac it has the red tag but it's faded some. it is complete with the hoses. you can have it all for 50.00 plus shipping.....mike
I might be wrong,but I thought the Stage 1 compressor pulley was specific to the motor.It is about an inch bigger than most of the others used.I would ask someone like Duane or Jim Lore about it though. Pat
From the factory: A 68 wagon AC compressor clutch pulley is GM #6550750 A 67-71 GS AC compressor pulley = #5914745 A 67-71 60-80-9000 series also has the same GS pulley IF ithey came with a 3.42 ratio. If not they have the #6550750. I think you see where the line is between the large diameter pulley and the small is as well as why. Group 9.180
Mike, The red label hopefully has a three digit code on it and might read 725. I think this is the larger pulley version. :grin: P.S. I P.M.'d you about the mldgs. Bill
Need A/C parts Don't want to step on any toes, however, i also need a large pulley A/C compresor and correect hosses for a 70. Please advise.....
