A-1 Johnson salvage Billings, mt

Not sure if this helps anyone, but A-1 Johnson has what i think is a lot of 60s and early 70s Buicks. I only saw 1 69 skylark 1 68 skylark, but there were some real good stuff for wildcats and electras. Lots of random hub caps. As well. I might go back to get some kick panels, i can take some pictures of things you may be looking for if anyone would like.

A! johnson is a great wrecking yard. I have bought many parts from them through the years and all at great prices. the brown 65 GS in the yard used to belong to me. another good yard in the area is woodys in frannie wyoming and Freddy ziers in deaver wyoming. all have a huge inventory of classic cars at great prices.

I have been looking for a rear bumper for my Electra for quite awhile. I found one on e-bay a few weeks ago for $700 but the seller turned out to be a dead beat and he wouldn't ship it after I paid him for it.

I saw your post and called A1 Johnson. I spoke to Spencer. I told him what I was looking for. He asked for my number and said he'd call me back. I thought to myself that I probably wouldn't hear from him again. I got a call back ten minutes later and bought a bumper from him for $100.00 !!!

I set up the shipping, e-mailed him the labels and it will be picked up from him on Tuesday!

All painless!

Their number is (406) 656-8935 i can say the seats aren't in great shape, but they may have some in a different spot. Let me know what you come up with because I'm looking for a good set of bench seats too.

UPDATE: I received a follow up call from Spencer at A1 Johnson Auto wreckers today to tell me they got the bumpper off. Other than a couple of small dings it was good. completely rust free. Perfect candidate for rechroming. He had it wrapped and my shipping label on it ready for pick up. fedex is scheduled for tomorrow.

Good, sincere communication so far.

I'm looking for nice back-up light bezels for my '64 Wildcat. I think it is one year only. I have NOS lenses but the bezels are cracked in the corners. I'd be happy to pay you for your time plus the cost of them if you can find a nice pair or even just one. Thanks.

 

looking for pitfree fender vents (both sides) for '68 Special / Sportwagon

So..... Bad news, it seems i failed on all fronts. Reverse Bezels were broken. No seats, no plate covers. I did take some pictures and will post in a little bit. I'm really sorry i couldn't help out at all.

Don't think i found any of the fender vents you were looking for either. But maybe the pictures will show differently.
