Here is a One of a kind Buick Roadmaster I did it over for my dad this past year. We put over 17K in this car and it turns heads everywhere it goes. We are asking $12k for it. We put all new stainless all the way around the car. We also put the Roadmaster sedan front end on the car to make it part of our "One of a Kind" pride and joy.The new tires and rims just went on before he took it off the road this past week.Actually we never drove on them. The interior has been customized just a bit. We made bucket seats out of the original ones and added a center console. The floormats are special order with tri-shield emblems sewn in. We always kept them in the back of the car and use different ones. The rugs are extra clean so we used old mats for ourselves when we used it. The rear luggage area has a one pice rug to cover up the joints that you usually see when looking in the back. This car use to be a woody, but I pulled all the woodgrain off just to be different. The front windshield and rear glass are brand new becuase there were some wiper burns in the old ones. The brakes are all new and the exhaust is in excellent condition. Well check out the pix's and let me know if anyone is interested. I'm sure I missed a lot of other thing we did so ask questions if you wish. :TU:

I should have put the portholes on before taking the picture but I couldn't find the rest of them. I have a set of 4 to put on the driver fender. Here's a btter shot of the front clip too. All the chrome on that is new along with the Collector's Edition hood emblem.

A couple more added touches for the pinstripe. If you look at the front fender you can see I added the Buick tri-shield there too.

I probably should mention that this car isn't from this area. So it isn't all rusted like your typical NY cars. The original rims and tires will also go with it at that price. Those were also reconditioned with new tires and center caps.See pix.

It has 140K on it now. My dad had the tranny flushed and serviced 5 months ago. It doesn't burn any oil and rides beautifully. I personally took it on a trip during the summer and this car is awesome. I should also say my dad had the resonators removed when he had the exhaust fixed. So this baby bellars just a bit when you drop the hammer. :Brow:

Here's a better pix of the car with the factory rims and 3 portholes and it now has 4 portholes on this side. That is why I don't have any on the driverside. They sell them in sets of 6 so I bought more to even it out. I just didn't put them on yet. Oh yeah don't be fooled by the stance because we weighed it down for this shot. To see what it looked like with a lowered rear.

Definately a beauty! I'm a hugh fan of the 94-96 roadmonster wagons..someday I'll have one for my towing duties...but this one is a bit out of my price range. Good luck.

Todd if you do it put the sedan front clip on it. People look at and know there's something different but not quite sure what it is.

It's obvious that it isn't going to sell here on the board, but what do you think of the tranformation?

Do you like it or do you feel it should have been left alone?

The transformation is "One of a Kind" and is beautiful, if I had the money this would certainly be my pick.

Question on the wheels, they look as if they are polished or chromed, how did the get the center so shiney and who did it for you. I have a sedan I'd love to have wheels look like that.

Nice car and not very far from me, but its in better shape than what I'd want, and because of that its out of my price range... the conversion looks great :TU:

Not unreasonably priced, just more than I can afford :Do No:

  17. the only cool part for me is the engine, I could take out all the wiring and drivetrain and put it into a 50s buick. cool engine though. Only question i got is how many other buick models came with that engine set up? anyone?

ALL 94-96 Roadmaster and Roadmaster Estate Wagons came equipped with the LT1. 94-95 use ODB-1 ECM, 96 uses ODB-2.

They are basically IDENTICAL as the impala SS's of the same year range as far as Engine/tranny go.
