    Hi:

New here. Not sure if this is in the right forum to put this in, but I guess I'll find out.

I am looking to mount a few auxilliary gauges in my 1989 Electra Estate. I need a suitable location; want to keep the dashboard stock and retain the idiot lights. Want to be able to see the gauges from driving position. Can't mount on top of dash, a-pillar would be possible if I could find a proper a-pillar mounting pod for this car. Do not have room under the dashboard over the hump. Can't see bottom of dash in driver's foot well.

Ideas? My latest thought is to butcher the "wood" panel on the passenger side and put gauges there facing towards the driver a bit. Would be fugly, but might work. Comments?

    TIA.
