I have a 79 LeSabre Turbo VIN 4F3739H537354, the Sloan People don't have information on this except to break down the VIN. Is there any other source of information for something like this? The car has the turbo, bucket seats, no air, no power windows, has posi rear, big sway bars, and four wheel disk brakes, but no paper trail. Thanks for any information Dean
79 LeSabre Turbo Erik, I would like to find out how many came with four wheel disks, posi, no air, all that stuff, where it went from the factory, who ordered it, just things like that. Probably won't find that information but just thought someone here might have an idea. Dean
I see Dean. But for the "newer" cars that info is hard to find. Maybe I can make you happy with a few scans of the info I've got on the LS Turbo cars? It's not much I'm afraid........
I think a lot of those obscure cars from the Dark Ages are kinda cool, especially because I grew up with them. I remember a pale yellow/white LeSabre too. It was not a turbo but it was a special trim option, probably the same year too.
79 Lesabre Dean, 4F3739H537354 4=Buick F=Lesabre Sport Coupe 37=2 DR 3=231-3 turbo v6 9=1979 H=Flint 537354=Serial number Never seen rear disc on a 79 Lesabre, but it was offered 77 thru 79,I have seen the option on a 77-78 Riviera, which was built on a "B" body platform.Sounds like the car was originally ordered to run fast and to stop quick. More info check the plate on the firewall . Also somewhere on the vehicle you will see opt code W14=Lesabre Sport Coupe, also 4F37=Lesabre Sport Coupe 2dr Hardtop pillar coupe. Cool car :TU: David
