Definitely a rare car around here! Not very pretty to look at either! http://appleton.craigslist.org/cto/3569363030.html
Should get great mileage with that 1.8 power house engine! Do they still make manhole covers in Neenah?
Maybe you like this one better, i have owned this one for 12 years and recently sold it, the engine is a 1200 cc 4 cyl. Overhere we call it a Opel C kadett Coupe , it was driving like a go kart, great cornering on high speeds, topspeed was 70 mph , but with my lenght of 6.73 ft i had more head and leg space then in my GS....before i fixed it So i have been driving a little buick for 12 years , before i bought a real one hahahaha Sorry that the pics are upside down.....stupid Ipad
I never assume anything gets good mileage any more. I had a 70 Opel wagon which I drove a lot in college. It was green, my friend called it the grasshopper. It got 12 mpg.
I had an Opel Isuzu, 1976, 2 door, bought new at Roger Dibble, Binghamton, NY April, 1977, $3106 Out the door, took me from Owego to Potsdam for $5 for fuel many times! Drove it to Flint to work for GM and got harassed even though GM owned most of Isuzu at the time, sold it and bought another Buick POS, '79 Skyhawk, don't bother asking about that POS it's story is around somewhere.
Hey Jeroen, that GS350 in your avatar was that the Buick from Bart? It sure looks like it, same color and same cool air catchers in the inner headlights holes. Greetz Robert
Hey Robert, Yep this is Bart's GS 350, it's now driving around in the Westland, so it's likely you will have more chances to see it, i'll be at the first Saterday Night Cruise on the 6th of april at Zichtenburg and at American Sunday at Zandvoort on the 28th of april. And the air catchers sure look nice, I'm happy with the complete car!!! But your car is also a nice part of machinery Greetz, Jeroen
Hi Jeroen, Good to see the car did find a good home again. Ok will see you at the SNC or maybe even a week earlier at the Swapmeet location in Monster. A friend of mine has 68 GS to that he is slowly rebuilding to get it on the road again.
Hey Robert, guess i'll see you at the swapmeet then.... .BTW it is at vd Ende Racing Inn in Poeldijk See ya, Jeroen
I would love to own the GS 350 in the first two pics.......nice car! Hmmmm it looks familiar.......ohhhhhh it's already mine! Was a nice and warm swapmeet ! I'll take the RIV and the GS to the meeting of coming saturday
