I recently purchased a 76 ford torino and, of course, I don't know much about them. Is there a website with all the specs on this vehicle? And does anyone here know if Ford started putting disc brakes on the front wheels by this year? I hadn't taken off the wheels yet, I just wanted to know so that I could figure out what I would need to buy to rebuild the braking system. Thanks
Ford began using disc brakes in either 65 or 66 on most of their cars as on extra cost option. Can't say for sure if yours will have them as standard equipment, but something tells me they were optional. You'll have to take a look.
