71-76 skirts all same electra All the skirts are the same 71-76 except the trim, some had no stone guard and no holes to mount them, some had the propeller type stone guard, and the others were all one pc potmetal guards, in 76 propeller type were available on 225, the limited had two type trim, low trim rocker moulding, and deluxe trim wide trim with trim on bottom of the door and rocker. The trim on the skirt showed this match up to trim. If you have good uncracked potmetal trim hold on to it, all metal same these years except rare no propeller type , let me know I have multi sets of skirts shipping is a bit high because of size. craig
Hey craig, Don't live far from you.. Hey, I have the skirts with the stoneguard on the corners in the back and front..They are chrome, but pitted..Skirts kinda rusty..I live in New Richmond Wi, about 2 hours from you..Maybe you have or can get some pics or tell me what colors you have? Mine are a lighter brown..I believe my color code is gone for I cannot find one anywhere..Thanks for everything.. Bill
Revise on Skirt post.. Craig, Looking at my skirts more closely I noticed that it looks to have the stoneguard to the front of the wheel and nothing to the back of the wheel..Also it has trim along the whole bottom edge connecting to the stoneguard in the front and running to the end in the back, but no trim where it meets the car....Here's a picture..Maybe you can identify the car color since mine is the same..Thanks.. 76 Limited skirts You have the deluxe, full potmetal, with the wide trim on bottom of the doors and running boards, that is a hard trim to find due to potmetal pitts and cracks usually in middle by the screw area in the trim. Do you need repaint able solid skirts, I only have one set of trim and I have a park ave, and need those but have solid metal skirts, you can put your trim on after they paint to match car, let me know, craig
These seem to be presentable, but haven't been pulled from the car, yet, to verify condition on the back. I don't believe there was any obvious rust on the outside. Let me know if you're interested. I'm not at the car today, but can get the paint code this weekend.
