https://www.facebook.com/marketplac...wse_serp:ede538ca-2bee-42e0-ae92-80fc9b80cbd9 This is a rare, real code 455 CI 270HP TH400 car. There were only 728 Gran Sport Stage 1 cars built in 1973. The additional options of A/C and Th400 make this car only 1 of 495. Only 33 of the 728 were produced with this body color. And just 10 of 728 came with the Saddle Bench trim. See the Stage 1 production breakdowns attached. It has A/C (not working), power steering, power disc brakes, 3:42 posi-traction rear, factory Stage 1 suspension upgrades, factory dual exhaust, tinted glass, original AM-FM radio, tilt wheel, and factory 15 5 spoke mags with B.F. Goodrich T/A Radials. The under-side of this car is as nice as the top. This car runs and drives excellent with tons of power for 1973. I have driven this car less than 500 miles since I purchased it. The prior owner created a walk around Youtube video. Please visit
Beauty of course is in the eye of the beholder but I kinda like the interior - Much more so seeing it than if someone had just told me. I agree on the bench but IIRC, unless white, unfortunately it was a bench only.
Tom had a green 73 Stage 1. It had a 400 in it when he sold it. It belonged to Jason Lutz at one time and was painted red. Not sure if this is the same car or not.
The bench seat allows for that sixth passenger to ride legally with a seat belt. Cool cruzin with your five sons. Looks nice but ac not working, no mention of correct carb or distributor, stock build on motor leaves much to be desired when it’s so easy to get horsepower with cam and pistons. IMO the price is right
Price is good and I do like these but I'm having a hard time with the green. If it were stick, and I had the room I'd go for it.
Stick would be a whole different story and seemingly more $ - I'd love to have a bench seat 4-sp. '73 & know of one (2 actually) that I'd love to get but are huge projects. I'd have never thought I'd like the colors but I really do.
I dig the color, just not sure I could live with it Would like to see more photos (and read more details), but the car certainly looks clean....
This might be one car that I wouldn't mind being a bench seat. Green and brown, a very classy color combination, I like it also. If one wanted to, a midnight green paint change would work nicely.
I have always hated adds with no price listed ! It makes me think the seller isn't serious about selling, or he just wants to talk with people about his car.
