I don't know much about '73's so will be interesting to what those who do have to say about it but on the surface I really like it!

Northside Buick. I had a '72 GS350 from there and Phil Dayen's '69 GS350 was sold new there as well. Pittsburgh can be tough on a body. With all that fresh undercoat, it's difficult to say just how ugly things actually are. :(

Protect O Plate checks out FOR SURE! That's probably Glenn with his Buick.

Correct me if I'm wrong but i thought the energy absorbing 5 mph bumpers started in 74? You could have a picnic on that front bumper. Sharp car either way.

Nope, 1973 for the redesigned mid-size GMs.

Federally mandated 5 mph front bumpers and 2 1/2 mph rear bumpers in 1973. In 1974, both front and rear were 5 mph.

If the undercoat is the thing that kept it looking that good for this long, then I'm totally ok with it. If its a CA car, it was probably never rusted to begin with.. That car might just be the bargain of the year.

looks like it was under coated not long ago, you can see a piece of rust coming out one of the frame holes.

Looks like that undercoat is load bearing..

This is why I undercoat crystal clear. There’s always people who see protective undercoating and think the seller is trying to “cover things up”. There is no evidence of neglect anywhere on this car, so I doubt the undercoating is anything but a protective measure.
