nats anybody going to the nats and sees one for sale take down the specifics for me i would appreciate any help in locating one Bill
Tims car may seem overpriced right now but if the upward sriral of Musclecar prices continues it may be a bargain. I just wish I could find a way to snatch it up . JK
stage 1 convert Tim's car is right up there on my wish list John but the extensive list of nos parts he is including has pushed the price a bit higher then I want to spend on a car that will need alot of dough to restore on top of the parts . Bill
My old car You might want to check with Volo Auto Museum. I sold them my '72 Stage 1 conv. a few years back. Flame orange, with white interior. They told me that they would probably be hanging onto it for awhile (sure they always say that). It was an N25, AM/FM, Tilt, A/C, Tach & Guages, 70-80K mi. car. It had the original trans, original Rear, but a '70 350 HP, 455 from a GS....an SF code maybe? John
SF was the full size 70 Buick-- rated at 370/510 :3gears: That's what I put in my 71 GS Conv. :beer Frank
Bill I will be putting up one of my 2 72 GS stage 1 convertibles for sale in the next 4-8 weeks.Running car needing complete restoration.

Good point, Bill if you're selling a #1 car you're tired of looking at let me know. I like them finished, no work for me. I don't have time or tools...yet. Besides we already figured out that a showroom condition car will sell for nearly as much as a basket case. Ain't that a hoot.
Mike same goes for your 72 "Green Thing"...Maybe you and Bill can do some business then I could get one of the cast offs... :Brow:
I have a feeling that Bills car and Mikes car will stay in their respective homes since you would be hard pressed to find another in that condition . I will have to be happy with what I have for now which includes a 72 Convertable project just acquired with BBB, th400 , 342 posi and a buttload of extra parts .I imagine that when finished it will run and look like the real thing for about 75K less than that one that just sold on ebay .
You're right John...but it never hurts to ask. The "known quanity" aspect is exactly why I find them so interesting. Two of the nicest 72 Stage cars out there. :TU:
My uncle has a 1972 Stage 1 convertible. Car is mint. He told me it will go with him to his grave. It is beautiful!!!! Patrick
