I understand we are all trying to be friends here, I have dealt with a lot of guys on this board. I just don't think the way he approached his first post was one that says "hey lets all be friends". Believe me I read his post very well before responding. I am not starting anything here, rather just defending the right of us board members to speak freely in this section of the forum. And when someone tells us we are overstepping our boundries, I am wondering how? Has a mod stepped into to tell me that my critique of the car was not acceptable??? Not rightfully so, maybe you can understand why I responded to him, it's not about his credentials or how many cars he has restored. It's about speaking your opinion in this section, since it is one of the few sections on this board we are able to speak our opinions on when it comes to cars and parts on EBay.
I apologize for sounding so harsh about the car, and I would not have even posted anything negative if it was a private individual's car. Not too many of those specialty car dealers give anybody a special bargain, so they need to be prepared for the cars they sell to be critiqued.
If you read my post it says ive had over 40 musclecars not that ive been into it for 40 years. I dont need to float my own boat like you do my friend. I was simply stating that i know about people that like to put everyone elses cars down because ive been to a million car shows and ive had alot of cars, so ive run into your kind before. Maybe you should learn to read something before you make inflammitory comments. If you feel the need to degrade me think again. Like i said , i know your kind very well. A holier than thou know it all that feels the need to put down every persons car that he feels it not "worthy" or up to his standards. Then you mask your comments and defend them by saying you are just "helping" others by critiquing the car and pointing out defaults to others because you are so kind hearted and just. Please spare us the wonderful helpful comments and get off your high horse. Nobody said you couldnt point out whats wrong about certain cars, its just the way some people do it that comes off as "im better than you". :spank:

Spend more time on this board you might see how we operate. But you are too caught up on reiterating your portfolio of holiness. My boat was never afloat; I have not yet once throughout this thread tried to make myself or my car look good in any manner whatsoever. I just laid out the facts of this section for you, and if you don't like it then maybe you should disconnect your keyboard. I listed what was wrong with the car, you could look at this as a critique like the 2 posts before it, or you can act like a Donkey and show us all your intelligence as brightly as you have. I agree with you and sometimes I miss stuff like everyone else. I have to work 7-3 so there's a good chance I'm not going to have access to the board all day long. Today happens to be in exception... Also, I'd like to think that as adults, people will be able to iron out their differences and move on....of course if that was the case, there would be no need for mods... As I stated a few posts above, let's just chill and watch the auction. Enough of the back and forth... I'd hate to have to lock or delete this thread since there are actually some imformative posts. However, another post NOT relevant to the car and or auction, and I'll have no other choice....
