I know this has been discussed but I am mainly undecided on the rear speaker location for my 72 convertible skylark. I have the center speaker in the trunk, and I don't think I want speaker boxes for the interior and I don't think I want to cut up any of my interior for speakers. I like the kick panel options for the front though so I'll probably order them. So has anyone found something like that for the rear? I guess worst case I just put 2 good speakers in the trunk o No: I think I settled on a "Retro-sound" head unit. They have a 2 post style stereo which has jacks for memory cards and ipod. (any first hand experience with them?) thanks for any info! -Dan
Like you, hacked-up interior or tripping over boxes in back unacceptable...considering something rearward under front seat...but...not sure anything will work, since I always have top down which rules out trunk. Between exhaust/wind noise, rears likely useless. Kicks best overall bang-for-buck for me...
