27 years ago, i owned a silver and black 72 skylark 350. It had the 3/4 vinyl top with a pinstripe going from the front of the front door, all around the back of the top to the other front door. It said skylark 350 on the rear quarter, not just skylark or skylark custom. a real beautiful car. It had the custom interior. If you know anyone selling one in any color combo, please let me know. My dad also had a 72 suncoupe with a white top in flame orange ( what else is new ) and destroyed the car by having a shop cut out the sunroof with intent to put it unto his flame orange 72 stage 1 which the shop never did and stole his money ( and saved the stage 1 hardtop ). such manipulation should never be done to real cars. anyway, the suncoupe also said skylark 350 on the rear quarters. i just saw two in the wanted / for sale. one with the pin stripe painted over and the other without ac. looking for the bench seat like i had with ac, with or without the sun coupe option..
I'm toying with the idea of selling mine. Needs to be finished up with some body work, paint, etc. It's a rust free Arizona car with around 66k original miles. I can post some recent photos if you have any interest.
