Clone? Documents, the window sticker doesn’t look correct and it doesn’t have the L79 Stage 1 listed either as he says it’s a numbers car.....and it says GS 455 on the Title line on it to which I haven’t ever seen on a Window Sticker......I wish I could see the fuzzy window sticker clearly, because if it’s an “X “...I’ll race to Nashville In about 7 minutes With my trailer and a bag of cash !
It doesn't really matter if it's a clone or not. It looks like it would plow snow better than any GSX I've ever seen.
Fake sticker, by somebody who can't spell very well. It's an "autimatic" with the "convience" group option? I always knew Brad's car was a clone, I think he copied this one.
And.....right after F and R spoilers it says l and R racing others..........I think I saw this car just a couple years ago for sale in the East like Pennsylvania or NJ for $50k??????
Great color combo. Yeah that window sticker for sure isn't original. Aren't there a very limited number of black GSX's?
The reason the front spoiler looks totally off is that someone mounted it at the rear edge of the front bumper. Bows the spoiler and pushes it down and forward.
Is that even a repro window sticker? Numerous spelling errors, costs, etc. I don't think Mike Trom would let that off his printer. Totally fake but imitation is the most sincere form of flattery....
There were none, as in Zero, 72 GSX's painted in Black. If this car is an original black car, then it is a clone. Duane
There was a board member who had a 72GS 455 painted the same combination look to be in better shape for sale for 30 K maybe he will chime in.
The guy emailed me back, says it’s a real Stage 1 , but has no Doc’s that it’s a GSX, that’s what he was told when he bought it. By looking at the Window Sticker it’s not even a Stage 1, it has a “U” for 5 th letter.....geez really? I have asked for the Trim Tag to see if it is infacto an SCO car.......
Ask for a pic of the VIN as well. Sloan Report would answer a lot. Trim tag pic could be interesting.
ViN is on the window sticker, it who knows if that’s even right? Guy just should own up to it being a Clone, and drop down to $30k and it’ll sell it sure is pretty as heck, one of my favorite color combos....
The front spoiler, racing mirrors, and heavy duty cooling weren't part of the GSX package in '72, should be listed separately. Nice car, clearly a clone, and lots wrong with the window sticker (including the dotted line on the bottom where it was supposed to be cut off).
