It's unbelievable what you were able to accomplish to get the car to the show. And no doubt there was much more than what you had the time to share in this thread. The car just "pops". Outstanding work Adam.

    Getting near the finish line...

Heater core came out tonight without TOO much fuss. The lower tube has separated from the tank. I ordered a new one, should be here in a week or so. I also ordered new front seat covers and foams. Covers are from Legendary and came in about 2 weeks Foams are from Todd Miller.

Most of the gauge issues were solved by removing the old factory harness jumper wire that was in the old harness. The new harness is already pre-wired for gauges, so this jumper scrambled the wires up. I had to remove the gas tank and repair the NEW sending unit. It works now.

Still have not done the rear end detail or painted the air cleaner. Those are the easy jobs, though. LOL

Seat covers will go on soon. I forgot that I lent my hog rings and hog ring pliers to someone a couple years ago and never got them back. Time for a new pair...

For those who don't follow on Facebook, the guys from Speed Detailing & Jax Wax paid a visit yesterday. They cleaned up all my scratches and clear coat blems with some serious paint correction, and then sealed the entire car with ceramic coating. The car looks like it was dipped in liquid AWESOME. I don't have any photos saved but I'll try to steal a couple off facebook.

It lives again after heater core surgery. I have some tuning to do after the first run around the neighborhood...something's not right with the carb.

I started the seat covers this morning, and realized that the box next to the covers was NOT the foams. So that project is on hold until they come in.

    Air cleaner is finished...

I see on the driver side photo the bumper looks a bit tweaked. Not sure I can fix that but I'll try. The rear is the same on the passenger side.

Just a few items to cross off the list now. Hopefully it will be easy street from here on out.
