Thanks Dave....she was really tired when we sold her. Very rotted out and the 455 had low oil pressure. I loved that car! Look forward to seeing your progress.

I have to Ditto everyone. Some nice work. I' looking forward to more updates as well. Very very cool.
I ran across pics of this at the start a while back on some other site. I thought to myself. This is a cool idea, but i bet it just gets dropped and never finished. I'm really glad I was wrong. Heck, you got it licked now. Heres a couple other ones I have seen. Not Buicks but interesting.

I honestly think when this thing is done you need to write into Hot Rod and tell them what you did to this car, It is awesome!

Weld up the holes in the hood and add Centurion badges to further confuse the issue!

Well, I did buy a Centurion grille, because I love the way it looks, but I don't have the matching lower bumper grilles. The grille set-up is probably the only change toward Centurionism I would make. :pp

    Thanks Guys!

Yardley, not sure about the BPG this year.

Been working on this thing every chance I get. Still having fun, but progress seems slow on this project, as it is still just in primer. I guess once I have it in final prime, and start getting it ready for paint and assembly, I will see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Thanks Ismo! Still pluggin' along, making progress.

I'm finalizing the body/leveling and priming, and now I need to choose what to do for sound deadening/insulation. I think I will go with a new product instead of the original tar mats and jute padding.

I considered Dynamat and other similar products, but I think I will go with QuietCar. It is a sprayable, brushable coating that absolutely deadens the resonance of panels, making the car vaultlike, yet adding very little weight.

They claim it can be sanded and painted, so I will coat the entire floor pan, and then sand and refinish the cargo trunk area with the correct black/aqua spatter paint, making it undetectable.
All body panels will be coated on the inside, maybe even the roof, but I am not sure if I want to go to the trouble of removing the headliner to do so.

If I do indeed go with this product, I will show it's application, and results. We'll see.

    David :)

Thanks Ken, but I am probably going to stick with the Electra/Estate Wagon grille. I'll keep it in mind.
