I have a 1972 Buick Skylark Covertible, and I was wanting to remove the chrome trim that runs around the back of the body where the conv top meets the body, so I can primer. It looks like the trim pops off, but I don't want to try anything until I get a second opinion. Anybody know how to remove it without damaging it?

    Thanks,
    Blair

Not chrome but stainless. Screws up from the bottom. Does NOT pop off!

Blair, if you lower the top half way then look up under the front of the trim, you'll see the screws.

    Good luck, Jeff

Thanks guys, my top was up and I didn't realize I could move it down, the car has been sitting for 20 years, so I had to use some TLC to get the top down.

    Thanks,
