    No.

Just curious - why are you looking for it?

Basically just for the heck of it, even though it is just a basic car, it is kinda neat to find the build sheet on a car.

    Bud.

For $20, you could always get all original sales codes from the Sloan museum. Some people who have found buildsheets discovered the sheet was for a car a couple digits off in serial number.

If it's only a 'nice-to-have', I'd leave well enough alone. Look for it if you already have something apart. If it's eating at you, look above the gas tank, inside the door panels, under the drivers seat (in the springs or under the carpet), under the rear seat (in the springs or under the carpet), and/or rolled and tucked up in the dashboard.

Most cars (I'm aware of) came with nothing. Buick line workers were not very diligent in making sure each car received a buildsheet (or even a correct one at that).

    Good luck.

you are 100% correct on all of the info, I may unhook the back seat and tip it up a little and take a peak just for fun, if it is there great if not no big deal, I had read in other posts where people have found them just about everywhere a person could think of in the car, then like you say they find it and it is for another car, now that would be a drag if a person had something rare!

    Hot rubber to ya, Bud.

    Hey Bud

The Fischer Body Shop inspection sheet is sometimes located there, I think it depends on the assembly plant. Also they have been found up in the dash above the steering columb, under the carpet or inside door panels. You could find these just about anywhere, look for rolled up (thick) paper.

I found one above the steering on a 72 Stage conv that a buddy and I were checking out on a used car lot. Yep, it was a real stage 1! Didn't buy it though, they wanted $5,500 and the car needed a lot. Well, it was 1985 or so......

The build sheets were stuck to the top side of the gas tank. I don't know of any other location for them.
