    Heres the scoop on me,

I live in upstate NY and Im a full time college student so I have time to work on my baby between may and september. This year I graduate and will start to make more money and thus be able to increase my car budget. She needs some quarter panel work and theres low compression in one cylinder. But shes all mine . My question is, are there any shops within 100 miles of rochester that do good metal work and wont kill me on cost? and what should I do aboout my engine problem. Im taking a year off from school then going on to become an Optometrist, and my graduation present to myself when I finish there is a full frame off restoration to make her as good as new. So this work is kinda patch work until I get done with my education thanks for your help. P.S. If someone lives locally and would like to teach a 22 year old how to do metal work Im more than willing to learn!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't do patch work. Save your money and time and do it right the first time. I would park it in a garage and make a plan of action. When you have funds and time available, do a resto. Much easier and cheaper in the long run :TU:
