I took Larry's suggestion and bought a service manual off of Ebay. I was discouraged because they were so expensive but I waited until the right one came up. The one I bid on was described ans "well used but all there" and for $9.00 plus shipping about $22.oo total I took the chance.

The description was right on, the front cover was a little beat up and there's some tape to patch the cover up but the pages inside are great! What's cool is the previous owner from 1979 had hand written some notes about the services he did to his car on the inside front cover. He also marked some pages that were importent to him that have a few of his greasy finger prints on them to show it. He didn't note what car he had but I'm sure it was a Skylark Custom!
