72 350 2 bbl choke thermostat assembly $20.. Plus shipping, which shouldn't be much.. Very nice shape, only minor surface rust. Very solid.. Will gladly trade for 4 bbl assembly..
If you need a 4bbl divorce choke assembly you can just cut and rebend the metal rod on the 2bbl assembly - it is the same piece with different length rods. The one on my 4bbl intake and Q-Jet carb set up was a 2bbl choke that I changed the rod length on and it works perfectly.
The problem is that the other metal pieces disintegrate/rust over time and become very thin. The spring and rod seem to stand the test of time. The bottom part of mine that sits down in the intake is very thin and frail, but will probably work for years to come.. With a copper RTV gasket..
I still have a very nice 2 barrel choke assembly. It's the well piece, coil, and upper piece with the rod. THey can be assembled with RTV copper and no gasket if you wish. It will make a lasting seal.
