'71 Stage 1 - What is this cable for?

    Hello!

I'm getting ready to put the dash back together on my '71 Stage 1. I labelled everything when I took it apart, but I did find a few wires that weren't connected to anything. I've id'd most of them but one remains. This is a cable that comes out from behind the lower DS kick panel to under the dash very close to the headlight switch.

I've looked at the factory wiring diagram, and cannot seem to find anything that looks close.

    Any idea what it's for?

    Thank you.

Probably for an aftermarket CB radio from back in the day. That is RG-58 coax with a PL259 connector. Antenna to transceiver.

I'm a ham so this was 2nd nature to me. Oh, RG-58 is 50 ohm coax where as RG-59 is 75 ohm....
