Just a shot in the dark here. I have a 71 7041242 carb with a build date of 109 which would be April 19, 71. Strangely the 1 is missing as the 109 was stamped so high on the carb there was probably no room for the 1. The date is too late for my car and would be correct for a 5th week of April car to the end of 71 model year. I am looking for a approx 335 of 70 to approx 078 0f 71 stamping. I am offeriing up only the main body of the carb with the number. No internal or external parts included. This is a very clean carb with nice threads in the nozzle. I know it is a shot in the dark but you never know. I can supply pictures if anyone is interested. I am not interested in selling or buying as prices on these things are way beyond reason anymore.
Not really for sale Ray. Just for trade by chence someone has correct date fro my car. If I sell it I am stuck without an original Stage-1 carb
