There is a 71 Skylark 455, a sort of pale yellow, new paint, new or very good interior, automatic, toyo tires, looks like torque thrust wheels 17's, vinyl top. I don't have the number but can get it or pics if you want. Any questions send me a message.
71 Skylark I stopped and looked at it on Friday. I know the guy. He's not really a Buick guy, but he does like them. His name is Tim Terp, and he can be reached at 920-682-5000 durring business hours. Not sure about nights or weekends. The car is pretty nice, but not perfect. It does have a fresh 455 and 4 wheel disc brakes. It appeared to be quite clean on the under side. I know the guy that built the motor and I did give him pointers on building it and I did set up the front timing cover/ oil pump for him. I didn't actually see him do the work, but I can vouch for him as being a first rate mechanic. I didn't hear it run, so I can't say good or bad. It is a nice looking car. I told him to get me pictures and I'll post them when I do. Thanks, Steve
Still hear This car is still for sale, I guess not to many buick nuts looking for a nice car around here.
Can either or you post a photo or 2 of it? Or can you email a photo or 2 of it to me? Thanks, John JSimonson@TDS.net
Skylark John, Check this post. I posted pictures of the car there for the owner. Thanks http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?t=99884
mines at least as nice-and cheaper! http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=29487 but few people will pay for something that isnt an "original" GS or Stage 1. I have proven the build quality of mine by driving it from California to the 1st BPG event in salem, and running it at both norwalk events that year as well. :3gears: :3gears: :3gears:
