'71 Hoods (2)

I have one 71 hood with a stage 2 scoop and a 71 GS hood with the opening for the hood mounted tachometer. I can bring them to Bowling Green.
I hear that they worth about $1,000+ each. If that's wrong please let me know.

I am stripping quite a few parts off of this car as it's being rebuilt at DeCordre Automotive and Performance.

 

Is the hood tac hole factory? Interested depending on condition

 

yes.. I believe so.

 

Thats not factory...It looks cut up from the picture.

Thanks! I did a little reading about the tachs, so it seems like it might be dealer installed, but I'd be guessing. Thanks for the expertise, the knowledge base here is amazing!. A fellow did call me and said he wanted the hood with the tachometer. We agreed on a price. I am going to take a few more photos of the underside for him.

 

Does tach come with hood?

 

Yes, but I would have to test it to see if it works.
