I have an extra new 71 Assembly manual for sale $35 shipped. This is not the barely readable early version sold elsewhere. You can actually see the print on this one and has some missing pages. It also has updates including changes that were added later in the model year. You can tell if you have an ealry or late editon by looking at page 6-10.2 which is the 455 throttle linkage page. If it shows the old style round spring type dashpot at the far left it is early. If it shows the electric idle solenoid in its place it is late version. I do not think these are easly to find but I have 1 extra. This comes professionaly spiral bound not loose. It has clear plastic cover.
