    I need 2 left and 2 right rocker arms (w/ retainers) for a '71 350.

You'd think with 12 parts houses in town it'd be available...but no!
They only list the left-hand rocker for Buick 350's! Only, $4 each, but what about the right-hand one?
Or, one place can order them (1-2 weeks) from the factory for $12 apiece...NOT!!! :spank:

    Anybody?

Guess I better break down and get a new TA catalog, I didn't see individual rockers on their online listings, just the complete sets. I'll give them a call in the a.m.! :TU:

(still miffed about the left-hand ones being the only ones available locally...Sealed Power, what are you thinking??? )

Since you need some rocker arms, I would take the time to inspect the shafts. If you see grooves in them, get a complete new set-up. I think you can get both sides complete for $80-100. Try www.postonbuick.com
They will have them in stock.

Shafts are good, I used HD hardened shafts on the rebuild 15 years ago.

I've got a couple of issues with this engine's valvetrain oiling...a couple of worn rockers, worn cam bearings and valve guides, and I'm betting the cam lobes are wearing. Heck, after 150K miles, I'm not complaining, just trying to keep it going until I can get the 455 done. :Brow: (which at my rate will be in another 150K miles :Dou: )

Really, I almost hate to pull out the 350 - apart from the valvetrain wear, everything else in it is GREAT (compression, bearings, etc)

I have some of these, both stamped steel and aluminum. Which style are you looking for? I do not have any retainers though.

Thanks, but I've got some on order. :beer Apparently, Sealed Power decided to quit making the R ones :spank: , but Melling still makes L and R. :TU:

(if I ever take these heads off, I'm drilling out the pushrod holes like Buick did on later years so that the "universal" rocker arms can be used.)
