Congratulations and good luck. I had one just like it in the eighties. Loved it and it was quick. Beautiful.
This car is up for sale for those of you who missed it last time and were kicking yourselves about it. http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ank/cto/3299328026.html
The Minneapolis seller contacted me to see if I was interested in his car. He sent me the same photos and that car, despite being from Minnesota, also appears sound and nice and - as he noted - no vinyl top. I have a 1970 SCO Wildcat 2 door hardtop with bucket seats and console, full on project car from Montana. I have the build sheet. Unfortunately, it's waiting it's turn for garage time. It's my understanding that all 1226 1970 Wildcat bucket seat/console hardtops were only offered in black. I have agreed to purchase a set of white door panels with power windows off a V8Buick seller. Although not entirely original then, I think the white door panels with black interior will be striking. My car has a highway posi under it and manual windows (soon to be changed to power windows). Anyway, would love to won the MN Wildcat but that's out of my present ballpark money wise. Still, for someone not owning and wanting a ga-zillion cars like me, this one would be a nice addition.
