    Huh?

Hi. . uh, whomever you are. . . I've been around Buicks a few years and I don't have ANY idea what you're talking about. Can you describe the purpose of this switch-thingy? Vent? :Do No: Hmmm. Don't mean to make light of your request, but I just don't recall ever seeing anything like that on a 70 GS ONLY? Enlighten me, please! so perhaps one of us can assist you in finding what you need. :TU: Wheelz, Tampa Bay

    Wheelz,
Unknown is talking about the forced air ventilation that was available on non-AC cars. Those switches are very hard to find.

PS. That option was also NOT a 70 only option, a friend of mine has it on his 71 Skylark convertible.

Sheeesh. . in all my 34+ years in dealing with Larks and GS's, I gotta say I've never seen anything like that. Possibly cause almost ALL the cars I've owned, were A/C cars. .being here in Florida and all. . .I'd LOVE to see a pix if anyones got one!?!? GOSH this list is GREAT! :TU: Even at my old age, I learn something everyday! The 70 conv. i have with this option came from california and it did not have a switch at all,the car was in pieces...i stumbled across these twin motors located in my cowl when i was changing a wiper transmission on the car...i was stumped for weeks until i found some info in the fisher book...i think we should have a section called "ask duane",he has all the answers :TU: ...thanks john

I think we should have an entire section called "See George before you buy". He's the man that should answer the questions.

Great pictures from 4 on the floor.

I only saw one car with this option in many years of looking. The option was called 'Forced Comfort Flow Ventilation' by Buick. Does anyone know if this was also available in 1969? Then there could have been two possible switches over the radio, one for the electric antenna, one for the vents.

I also saw one of these poor mans air cond. units on a 72 GS 350 about 25 years ago. I beleive Pontiac used this system also. Maybe you might be able to create the switch by using a 70 bezel from a P.W or P.L and other guts.

I found the option listed in my salesman's price book for 1969. It was option I2, Comfort Flow Ventilation, available for both A bodies, and full size Buicks, except no listing for Rivs. Kind of makes sense that GM would come up with it then, since they eliminated vent windows for all the full size cars that year. No listing for full size Buicks after 69, so it must have been unpopular. I see it listed in 1970 for full size and A body Pontiacs as Power Flow Ventilation, option code 588. The cost was the same, $42.13. It must have been unpopular with Pontiac buyers too, since it disapppears after 1970.

If anyone out there has daily reports, how about some numbers about cars with option I2? And for rarity, how about a 69 Buick A body with power antenna in combination with the power vents?
