Great looking car. Any guesses what it will go for? 70s maybe?

A NOM car is always going to bring less but I am not sure with a GS, If the right people are in the room maybe big numbers. But if its just the normal guys I guess it will bring 37,500. My dream GS is this combo with a 4 spd. It would be hard for me to choose a GSX over that.

Anyone pick up on the incorrect fan shroud? Nice car otherwise

Just from a quick glance at the underhood picture, you would not want to sit down and pick that one apart, as the list might get pretty long.

If it is the OE colors and appears decent in person, it might bring about half what it cost to restore it.. :puzzled: :Dou:

this would be the best chance for a below value buy, of course schooling the owner isn't always easy but for a few correct parts and placements a flipper could do well here

Im not sure you can buy a car at an auction and have meat left on the bone for a flip.

guess it depends on what a persons[Get out of bed for profit is] but an educated seller is always worth more

If it is at an auction house already, the only "negotiating" really being done is whether the owner will lower his reserve or not, and educating the seller (if he is even there) on what is right or wrong with the car likely isn't going to accomplish that. Doesn't mean you can't make money buying at an auction and flipping (after all, that is what dealer's try and do all day long), but it has more to do with who timing, who is bidding, etc. than it does with educating an owner (if you can even find him).

I remember the crazy days of easy credit from ninja home loans and home equity loans--you'd see a car bring big money at an auction then appear a month later at a dealer who'd bumped the price another 10-15% and would offer financing. And, when the bubble burst, a lot of cars either for sale (by the folks who borrowed to buy them) at a big loss or for an unrealistic asking price. Also, I certainly am not an expert but to me, in a perfect world, a car's true value is the losing bid not the winning one.
