It won Buick Gold in the 90s and has been very well cared for since. It has only 68,495 actual miles. It was bought new t Wolf Buick in San Leandro California. Born like you see it including incredible factory colors, bucket seats with a console. Documentation includes: GS Historic Society Judge's score sheets Original order form Warranty booklet Original literature Restoration receipts Wow, I was going through the California registrations and found a temporary permit with my name on it. I sold this car in 2005 to a big time collector! EXTERIOR: It was stripped to bare metal and repainted in 1991. You had to go through California registrations to know you owned it ?
You would need to see the build sheet to be sure if the car was born with them at the factory but yes it was a legit factory option for 1970. Sales Code: W4 RPO / UPC: Y51
It was orig. equipped w/that option. Not sure if that's the correct '70 style. '70 is unique & I know there were color coordinated body side moldings in '70 as well but not sure how many colors or if red came w/black. It also had a dealer installed pass. side mirror from new. Guy traded in a '62 Impala.
Oh nice! Where did you find the doc, was it on the website and I missed it? That simple yellow sales order (and other factory related documentation) always moves these cars, for me, from "interested" to "very interested". Too bad it is at a dealer... :-(
