If you have to ask, you can't afford it, I guess that is the sales approach. Makes it feel so exclusive. I mean, it is a rare car to be sure, but they just want to butter it up.

Sold for $75k not long ago and I recall it selling for around $79k (plus buyer's prem.) a few years back at an auction in NC.

 

Chump change for many. Not me unfortunately.

 

I would go $70k, not a penny more, because I would be out of pennys.

 

I'd be out of 'em well before that, lol (it's either laugh or cry). Better times are on the horizon.

 

This is a gorgeous car with a fantastic restoration so I mean no disrespect to this car in any way with this comment:

I often find a seller's description interesting to read as they dance around admitting when a car does not have the original engine. The current ad for this car states: "It has correct casting codes, the block was decked during rebuild"

 

You are right, it does seem to happen a lot.

 

It says Free Shipping though That might swing someone haha.
