A friend of mine has decided to sell his project car.
The car is actually a 71, but he was going to install 1970 bumpers/grill,etc. to make the car a 1970 315hp 350 car to run at the Pure Stock Drags.
The car project started with a very solid NC sedan that had original paint.
It was dark green with dark green interior.
The car was soda blasted bare, and is in primer 95% ready for paint.
It needs radiator support repair, and a small patch put in the pass side lower fender(although this might be done before it sells)
Aside from the fender, the bodywork is DONE and the entire car has been blocked with 320. Simply slide over it with 600, and start shooting paint, it's that close.
The engine is ready to be assembled. I can't remember off hand if it's .030 or .060 over. The block has been decked, the heads have been milled, the rotating assy is balanced, etc. New cam/lifters,chain&gear,bearings etc.
No stone was left unturned in the build-up of this engine, should without a doubt be the quickest all cast iron Buick 350 we've seen. I know he has a ton of money in just the engine.
The car is a non-air, manual drum brake car.
