I'm restoring my 70 skylark. Outside looks pretty good, but inside is another story. I really like the bench seat with split back. Can't really afford to reapolster it yet.. Does anyone have any seat covers to fit this type seat... There like $80 online, and thats $80 I can't ever seem to scrape up. New Home, 2 year old daughter, and A 455 rebuild thats bankrupting me, well, not the Kid, thats worth every penny. Please tell me someone here has these covers just laying around and there in the way... I really don't wanna have to replace seats.. Right now, the rips are just getting bigger by the day...

    Thanks guys and gals....

How is your back seat? Usually they are O.K., but I may have an answer if its the back.

    David,

I have a complete black split bench seat with armrest from a 72 GS that is near perfect. I have no use for it, but the shipping would kill you (I think)

    David,
Since your seat is shot, don't spend the $80 that you could use for a new seat cover from Legendary. If I were you, I would post a wanted ad here and also try to locate a regular seat from another A-body in better condition. Lots of people convert to buckets and have no use for bench seats. You may get lucky and get one for almost nothing.
