Excuse me sir! Now that you have reached the golden age of double nickles are the senior moments becoming more frequent? Your hood trim may be sitting in my driveway. ou:
Explain Bill Mah Explain the piece being in your driveway(I'm having a senior moment  )As I did find one in my garage! In nice shape! all the studs are there some minor pitting on the bottom side, top side is real nice! Double nickels a.k.a Moz
What I meant Gary is that I have a '70 Skylark sitting in my driveway that will be heading up to J.W.'s soon that has the piece Ken needs. He lives only a mile from me and has seen the car just about every weekend.
Sorry Kenny, I am not going to sell it back to you......... Glad I'm not the only one to have sold or traded parts I needed later. ou:
Fitttty Five I get it now RED GS 1 is fitty five also??? Whats JW going to do with your 70? Do I detect a clone comming into the world?? Or are you going to make a "Sleeper look skylark" Isn't that skylark the one you got from a board member from Texas??
Ian, Yeah,I know, I never thought I would need it. But now I have a fiberglass Skylark hood on my GS and I need that part!! Bill, I sent you an E-mail :TU: Gary, glad you figured it out
Kenny, I've got one. How about $50 Plus shipping? It's in good condition. All the studs are there but otherwise it is typical used condition for 35 years condition. I can take pictures but it is hard to see the details. Brian
Gary, Yes, this is the Skylark I brought up from Texas. I took the 455 out and the 12 bolt. Jim was looking for a "rust free" '70 Skylark and I struck a deal with him. I recently bought a '72 GS from another board member and all my resources will be put towards that resto. J.W. will be paying a visit to Long Island in the near future to pick up the car and Alan W.'s engine and what ever else he can fit in the trailer. Kenny!! The piece is off the hood and in the garage. All studs intact, nice and shiney. I'm working tomorrow but should be home by 4PM. Come and get it!!!!!!!! Don't forget to tell the Brinks driver the directions to my house. :Brow:
