    One question before i buy:

I was told it was the fan clutch because the fan rattles. Would the clutch fix it?
    Or is it just loose?

    Marvin,

I just had a worn out water pump this weekend and it rattled and had a lot of slop in it (side play). It did not leak? It also made a grinding sound when I removed all the belts and spun it by hand. I thought it was a fan clutch initially until I removed it.
