Man that’s a shame. Hopefully it’s not a salvage title. He might be able to get a decent price.

$18.5 for that? I'm just not seeing it. Even the $11k he paid for it is a stretch unless maybe the shell is super nice.

Another GS hood bites the dust.

He hasn't decided to part it out yet, he is trying to sell it whole first.

Correct, but I different person bought and removed the mangled clip. Now that person has it re-listed.

1970 buick cloned to a gs. NO ENGINE everything else goes. ceramic coated headers, rebuilt trans, new front disc brakes, new shocks. Bucket seats and console, tach dash, nice convertible power top. Car is super solid. It is salvage title. The frame is very fixable the impact was in the center of the hood. $10k located in Orient, Ohio. What you see is what you get body wide. NO ENGINE

Might as well keep parting it.

A tweaked convert tub can't be worth even half that..

That’s why he should just keep parting it. The value is gone now. I get it. He bought hoping to make a few bucks, but I think there were a few miscalculations.

It is highly possible someone on the board may have purchased it, perhaps say someone who is in the process of restoring a 72 convertible. ;)

Hopefully not to rebody it, since the trunk floors are different between those years.

Negative. For the interior. The current body is in excellent shape. Already had it blasted. Only very minor spot repairs in a couple areas.
