I was just at a friends house and he has a 1970 GTO convertible 400 that is rusted really really bad. I have never seen a car so bad. He is asking $2,500 for it so if you know of anyone that might be interested I can go back and take picture's of it for you. Bucket seat car with manual windows and floorshift but someone took the shifter out. It is a numbers matching 400 - 350hp "YS" block with the code 13 heads specificly for the GTO. There is only one grille in it on the passengerside. The dash vin tag is still there but the cowl tag is gone. I think someone remakes those.
No, the owner has changed his mind again. So for now he's keeping it. I'll keep you guy's posted because i'm going to see him tomorrow.
Ok guy's here what I know as of today. I went and seen him and he has done a few things to the car, like get it running, bought a lower front valance,original grilles and a shifter for it. He says he'll sell it for the first $3,600 that is given to him now. He asked me to put it on ebay for him next week but I told him that I would update the post here first. I wish I had a phone number to give you but I he doesn't currently have one. If either one of you guy's are still interested I think he is at his girlfriends every now and then and maybe you get hooked up with him there. I'm going back to his place over the weekend so I'll get some picture's of it then.
