70 GSX needs resto - NY

$30K aint happening in this market. Too many nicer ones out there for low money.

 

I really hope he it the 9 button an extra time, I think its kinda overkill to ask 30 grand for that thing.

 

This downturn in the market has really flushed out a lot of the project GSXes people had stashed away. I think some are just trying to salvage what profit they can without restoring the car first and figuring some GSX seekers will hit the buy button or pay a premium for the chance to own one.

I bet so few people really understand what kind of effort and $$$ it takes to restore a GSX like this ... not even talking about concours level. Just .02 cents.

I bet the GSX registry business is booming, though.

 

30 grand? he should be flogged for letting it get in such condition.

 

I believe that car has been discussed here before in the Ebay section and maybe somewhere else. Car is way overpriced in that condition and he will be lucky to get $15-17k for it.

I think this car was bought out of illinois and it looked like its in the condition now.

It would be mine ..not a stage1 car. Lets see if I start working on her now I may get her ready for Barrett Jackson in a few months
