Just an opinion, but I would think that a 70 GS455 would be more money than the 71-72 455 cars. I posed that question in an earlier post, and that was the opinion. I would think at least in my case ORIGINALTY would mean ALOT no matter what year. Some people don't care. No right or wrong just an individual thing.
I think in this case that "No answer" on VIN, actually IS an answer . Until then I'd buy it like it was a 350, 2bbl Skylark with stripes.......... Not leavin ya a whole lot of choice and I am sure the auction companies won't put their butts on the line without documentation either, to explain why it didn't get auctioned off..................... That is the other red flag when you have to hurry and buy it before..............(fill in the blank) Car may be okay but I always err on the safe side after getting burned one time in the past All could be cleared up real easily if there is nothing to hide
Here is the serial number from the Carlisle Auction: 446370H265900. I don't know if it's correct. Harvey
I contacted Wayne and left message a while back, no reply yet. Call me a sucker, I'm stillinterested if the history/pedigree can be verified. Is this a numbers match car?
