Major body work is done. Everything is in 2k surfacer ready for a final block before paint.

Both fenders and trunk lid needed holes drilled for the emblems, and also the trunk lid for the stainless molding at the bottom. Always a fun time making sure that stuff is straight.

Looks great Adam. It's one of those colors that looks really good when fresh and really bad on a rusty old heap. Kind of like '70 Rivieras IMHO.

Bittersweet knowing both you (Adam) and I were chasing this car… and now seeing how it’ll turn out. A little bird told me a console and shifter may make its way in there? I have the shifter body for him, and a nice console top plate….

    looking great BTW!!!

For those needing to paint their dashboards, A pillar covers, and rear package tray piece…here is an updated color code from the old ditzler code of 23320. This is a matted color, so it dries with some flatness. I realize the top of the dashboard and package tray should be FLAT, but I had a hard enough time getting this color.

It graduated to the big shop. Trying to get the engine/trans ready for install so I can get it off my shop floor. It came from the builder sans water pump and balancer, so I’m hunting down the red they used to paint it.

Fuel tank is ready to go in. Hard stop this evening when I realized I was out of 1/4” fuel line. Grrrr.

Inner and outer AC bits are detailed and installed. Valve covers have arrived but bolts are MIA.

Booster and MC, brake pedals installed.

Starting the fun project of instrument cluster now.

Unfortunately this car was cannibalized in GA so many of these parts need to be procured.
