You aren't the first person to ask this question. Pete (the British guy handling the sale of the green car) said after he marked it sold someone called him and asked who bought it and even had the nerve to ask how much they paid. I was shocked to hear that someone would ask about someone's private deal. Thankfully Pete is a professional and declined to provide the requested information. Pete said the person informed him that the Buick community is small and they would figure out who bought it. I can understand the interest, it's a great car.
Well I can tell you that wasn't me. I haven't ever spoken to Pete or anyone involved in the sale on his end on the phone. He did call me and leave me a message about the car in response to my request for more info when it was first listed, but I never called him back. I am curious to know who bought it, as I did directly forward Pete's contact info to a couple of individuals, who likely would not have been able to purchase the car without my help as they had been unable to reach Pete. One of those individuals has chided me for years about never helping him buy a car. So I was wondering if I can finally cross that one of my list. And also see if I have a finder's fee coming (cold beer) the next time I see him. The fact that you have the car, but aren't claiming ownership, led me to believe I know who it is. Although I am probably wrong, because I would think if it was that individual, he would have at least called or emailed me to thank me.
When I sent the online message to Pete he called me back within two hours. I know others that didn't ever get a call back from him. Not sure if their messages went into Pete's junk folder or something strange.
Same for me, but for whatever reason he never heard back from Pete. I am sure he was overwhelmed with emails as he had 9 cars listed at that time.
The green stage 1 on the trailer, that was discussed in a different thread? Or the Seamist Green car that is the topic of THIS thread??? If it was the other green car, that one was just a stunning car! And THIS car- Seamist on Pearl- is a striking color combo!
