    Hey guys,
I am trying to help a friend of mine. He has asked me to evaluate his car and let him know if it is worth fixing. It is a 1970 Skylark with a GSX stripe, deck lid spoiler and badging. It also has GSX molded/raised on the grill. I believe the vehicle may be a GS according to one book I have but definitely not a GSX. The VIN is 44370H151265 and the trim tag reads as follows:
    ----------------------------
    ST70 44437FL1 072419BDY
    TR 179 63 F PNT
    100
    ----------------------------
Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. We have another cheap donor in better shape but would like to fix this one if it is in fact a real GS.
    Thanks,
    Joe

A GS would have the numbers
    44637
    43437
    or
    44667
the numbers show he has a Skylark.
