I know I asked about floor mats about a year ago....I still would like some! I am looking for the best company out there to get these from. Have gotten a set from Parts Place in Chicago....yuck@! Awful looking and fitting, just some cheapies with GS monogramed on them. Am not sure whether to go with carpet or vynal either. Any input would be great, thanks Kevin
I have a set for my '71 Skylark. Front & rear. Made of the same material as the carpet. Finished edges & a rubber bottom with points to keep it in place. Mine has the tri-shield logo embroidered in 4 colours on the front pair. Vaguely remember vendor.....1A-Auto possibly. Found them on E-Bay & contacted them separately. About $85.00/set of 4.
My buddy bought a set of black GS floor mats from the parts place a couple months ago and they seem nice. He has new carpet and mats and it looks great. Might be a different vendor supplied them. He made me put a towel down to protect them when I went for a ride in his convert. Al
CARS in New Jersey sells correct reproduction Buick floormats with the tri shield emblem. The're 199.00 for the set of 4 or 149.00 for just the fronts. They come in black only. I have a set in the 70.
The mats I bought from 1A-Auto sound like the same carpet mats you have. 1A-Auto may be reselling. I put a can of Skotch-Gard on them but they still show dirt. Mine are a light tan-Sandalwood. Few more years I'll replace them with another set of the same thing.
