Glad they used the maximum words in the description. If I would have known about this two days ago,I could have had my driver grab it. I already committed to a 72 GS455 parts car from the same area.

I spoke with him yesterday. 2 people have already looked at and passed. I’ll go sat am it’s local to me but it’s probably 2 rusty to restore. Been sitting on the ground for 8 years. And no title. Hate to say but it’s probably only a donor for parts. Said the frame is bad.

    BUQUICK I'm your huckleberry.

This car is a short distance from my dad's house. No title, every panel rusted, bad frame, etc so I'm not sure it would really be much of a parts car unless someone can get it for far less than the current asking price.
While does have a drivetrain, wheels, and bumpers, those are all just core-quality at best (and that's a stretch). Such a shame to see a big block GS languishing like this.

My dad has told me from a young age "Son, NEVER spend a penny on a car that doesn't have a title, the only exception would be a parts car."

    YES!

Almost every state now REQUIRES a title (there are exceptions- if there is a current registration).. However, a title is 100% the way to go. My current 69 GS is the LAST car I will purchase without a title!

Just for an example: My 69 was not on the road for 30+ years, completely "out of the system". No title, no registration. I had to: get it insured, complete a Mass RTF form (with registration stamp within 30 days), provide a notarized statement of ownership history, contact the previous owner, get a notarized statement of ownership from him, along with a notarized copy of his driver's license, bill of sale, completed police VIN check form, then submit it all for a decision on whether or not I have to get a bond for a bonded title. Since the previous owner is dead, I had to send a notarized letter, to his last known address, requesting the above. The letter is then returned to me, undeliverable, and I have to get a notarized statement stating I attempted to have him complete all of the above, and present that statement, the undeliverable mail, and everything else above, to the DMV to make a decision on the bonded title.

    No way.... Never again!

My white GS 455 auto had a NC dated back to 1993 and it had a stamp on it. When I tried to title back in 2021,my local DMV told me the title was too old. I have never heard that in my life. The previous seller could not be found and the previous address was now developed,so I had to start from zero. It took a year of headache and BS,but I now have a legit title in my name. Just another reason I should have parked that car in a dumpster.

Glad I live where I do..... No title needed 26 years and older. I have been able to get decent deals on cars because of a "no title " issue in another state.
Every GS should be saved even if only to make other GS's live on.
Will be curious to see if someone buys it and what the final price is.

I know if I ended up with it, I’d be driving it a year from now.

I’m curious a car w/o a title in your state . What if hypothetically I lived in your state owned a car with no title (I guess registered and insured it) no title required and want to sell the car out of state. Would your local dmv provide a document to allow me to title it in another state?

I went and looked at it today. Offered 1500$ and glad he didn’t except my offer. Would need a rebody and a frame. Not much useable off it. And no title. Hoping he doesn’t change his mind and call me back

Georgia is a no title state. I could buy a car like that and, after a cop inspects it to be sure it is what it claims to be, runs the VIN to be sure it isn’t stolen, he’ll sign a form that allows me to register it. (I would have to insure it, even as a non operable car.) Georgia will not issue a title. If I sell it, states that require title will, with a legit Georgia registration, issue a title. They may not like it but they will.
