WOW, a 100k? Is that a fair price for one of those?

That's absolutely gorgeous!! The familiarity is crazy.

I wonder who did the restoration/preservation. What a beautiful example and super rare.

I also noticed the lower part of the door panels are carpeted like mine. I know they were all vinyl and figured it was unlikely anyone else did that.

    Odd...

Something that all the custom interior cars should have had imo,....same as my pops car besides the vinyl top

Prob. be a record for a non-Stage/Non-GSX. Is it "worth" that? Not in any value guide. Assuming it's matching numbers, all orig. sheetmetal, & restored to concours, it it fair? Not many out there that meet all those criteria. Couldn't restore one for that.

I believe @Super Bald Menace owned the car at one time.

    SP4SPD Slideways in the streets!

As Brett said, pretty rare car. Only 510 base 455 4 speeds made in 1970.
I think that its actually more rare than the Stage 1 cars?
    Really nice ride!

Time & money spent to get the car in this condition. I can easily see the asking price ask me how I know. I have a small fortune in mine but I have what I want… the way I want it

Beautiful car. I wonder why it has a 71-72 8.5” 10-bolt instead of the original 8.2”?

    Yep.

154 less GS 455 4-speed cars than Stage 1 stick cars.

It only takes one abusive owner to do all the damage.

For that caliber of restoration,I would have located one. Still fairly easy to find a 3:42 or 3:64. I had considered swapping mine out in my 4-speed car,but it will be fine back there.
The hardest part to find on that car is the 7040243 carburetor. I wonder if that is on there. Still a great car.

    For that caliber, I agree.

I also would have the correct finishes on the alternator pulley/fan and adjustment arm. There should also be a heater hose clamp on top of the intake and those spark plug wires should have the brownish boot.

I mean, if we're gonna start poring over it. :D
