John, I am actually doing a set of tail lamp housings next weekend. I will post pix's. I've done it for other cars and they really make the lights pop.

Scott, As for exterior use, I don't like this stuff for that, because it needs to be cleared when going on exterior items, and it dulls the finish. Makes it look like polished aluminum but that does look good though. I like it a lot for that purpose.

Here is an example,as you can see the center cap matches the polished lip perfectly when cleared.

I do NOT reccomend this stuff for yor dash.

    Reason is:

I put the dash back in the car, but had electrical problems and spent the whole day trying to get it working, and when I inspected the dash I seen areas where I started to rub off the finish, not bad but just not as shiny as before.

Soooooo to prevent bad blood between my fellow Buick members I prefer not to take on any refinish jobs for the dash bezels.

I will on the taillight housings though and will get pricing for you when done.

Thats too bad... A high gloss clear wont work?

When you pay the big bucks for the vacuum platting, its cleared to make it more durable. Cant really tell either.

Well if you look at the rim center cap I posted that is what it looks like cleared. It flattens out the nice shiny finish and makes it looks like aluminum.

Jarrod just shoot some clear on it and see what it looks like. Maybe still good enough for a non concours car

John,... I will do another dash bezel with the cleared surface for all of you to see, but not right off. Shop just got busy. When done if you guy's like the looks of it then I will gladly do it for the guy's that looking for daily driver finishes.
